An expansive genre that encompasses all types of chill sounds & moods spanning ambient, trip hop, and much more. This is the style that DJ lukewarm has become known for as it’s his favorite genre to play.
BALEARIC
An eclectic blend of chillout, funk, soul, nudisco, and so much more. No conformity to style. A freestyle expression inspired by the DJs from the 80s in the Ibiza scene.
DUB
Reggae-influenced instrumental beats with lots of echo, delay, & reverb. Music to zone out to. This is one of DJ lukewarm’s favorite genres to play as the sounds were made for long blends and achieving a hypnotic state of mind.
DUBSTEP
An evolution of Dub, Drum & Bass, & Jungle. DJ lukewarm’s blend of Dubstep is nowhere near the aggressive festival drops that Dubstep has morphed into today. Instead, his take on the genre is more chill (Chillstep), beautiful, & introspective.
REGGAE
Music born in Jamaica and that has influenced so many genres and musicians worldwide. DJ lukewarm likes to dig into classic Reggae tracks as well as fun covers of other popular tracks.
FUNK
From Jazz to Disco, Boogie to Yacht Rock, the Funk genre contains so many styles to groove to. Having seen so many funk bands in his early DJ career, DJ lukewarm’s sets contain a wide variety of funk influences.
DISCO
Disco is a powerful style that DJ lukewarm loves to showcase when it’s time to get people in the mood to party and feelgood.
NUDISCO
A newer genre that draws influence from Disco with an electronic dance music foundation. This is where DJ lukewarm sees House, Disco, & Dance music intersecting into a contagious blend of grooves.
HIP HOP
DJ lukewarm’s chill take on a massively influential genre spanning ‘golden age’ classics to modern day pop.
REMIX
One of DJ lukewarm’s signature styles is featuring a remix, cover, or edit of well-known tracks. This genre is aimed at having fun as a DJ from ‘tongue-in-cheek’ versions of classics to dancefloor movers.
HOUSE
One of DJ lukewarm’s most influential styles is House music from Chicago. His take on House music is usually Deep & Jazzy, with all kinds of other diverse elements that the genre is known for.
DEEP TECH HOUSE
On the border of Progressive music lies the Deep Tech House niche that DJ lukewarm loves so much. The tracks featured in these mixes are expansive, melodic, & beautiful.
WORLD
DJ lukewarm prides himself on his ability to mix styles from all over the world, including East Asia, India, Latin America, Africa, and more.
CHRISTMAS
Everyone loves holiday music, and DJ lukewarm takes that one step farther with his own signature blend of Christmas classics with a Reggae, Funk, and Remix flair.
BEST OF
For the past few years, DJ lukewarm has done a retrospective mix of his favorite tracks that came out that year. It’s a great way to relive some of the year’s stand out tracks in a musical time capsule.
